Additionally, it controls the development of surface microflora, thanks to the high content of methylglyoxal (MGO), a natural antimicrobial agent in honey that has proven effective in reducing bacterial biofilm. Adelmidrol, a water-soluble analogue of palmitoylethanolamide, can optimize healing and improve the elasticity of skin tissues.
