NON-ADHERENT DRESSINGSIt can be used in the treatment of dry to highly exuding wounds when it is necessary to prevent adhesions between the wound and the dressing, such as in the case of burns, radiation damage, dermatological transplants, abrasions, etc.
Characteristics:
non-adherent dressing without active ingredients that allows for atraumatic change. It is composed of a fabric of rayon-viscose filaments impregnated with petrolatum. The filaments are soaked before weaving so as to leave the pores of the dressing open and therefore allow drainage of exudates and transpiration of the wound. It can be cut without unraveling or fraying.
