Description
Antistatic Chamber for use with MDI pressurized metered dose inhalers.
How to use
Before use, carefully check all parts, valves and air vents. Replace if defective.
Remove the cap from the metered dose aerosol inhaler (MDI). Shake the MDI.
Insert MDI into the “Proper Fit” universal adapter and make sure it fits tightly.
Remove the inhalation chamber cover.
Insert the mask into the mouthpiece of the inhalation chamber.
Check that the safety exhalation valve opens (otherwise replace the mask).
Apply the mask to your face and make sure there is a good seal.
If the patient can cooperate, apply the mouthpiece only to the mouth and make sure it is sealed properly.
Inhale and exhale normally.
Then press the inhaler once and begin to inhale slowly.
Observe the VISION VALVE carefully: its movement indicates the act of inhalation.
After pressing the inhaler, keep the mask tightly closed to the face for at least 5 inhalation breaths.
Before pressing the inhaler again, wait and repeat this step following the instructions of the inhaler or your doctor. Always follow the dosage prescribed by your doctor.
Cleaning, disinfection and sterilization
Wash before first use and at least once a week following the instructions.
Remove all parts as shown and open the chamber.
Soak the parts for 15 minutes in clean warm water and mild detergent.
Shake gently.
Rinse all parts with clean water. Shake off excess water and allow to air dry.
Do not use drying cloths.
Before reassembling, make sure the parts are thoroughly dry.
Reassemble the parts as shown.
Disinfection: by immersion in 3% hydrogen peroxide for 30 minutes.
Sterilization: sterilizable with a steam cycle at 121 °C or with ETO gas or with a plasma system.
Warnings
- Always follow the instructions before each use.
- Do not leave Fisio Chamber Vision or parts of it within the reach of children: some parts are quite small and could be swallowed.
- The product must be replaced after 2 years of continuous use at the latest.
- Replace the product when it is not in its original condition of use, due to any damage, valve tightness, environmental and storage conditions and frequency of use.
- The use and sale of Fisio Chamber Vision are permitted under the strict control of personnel trained in its use.
- Monitor the patient during use.
- To maintain maximum efficiency of the device we recommend replacing the valve block every 12 months.
Conservation
Store the product in a dry and clean place.
Relative humidity 30% - 80%.
Storage temperature 0°C-40°C.
Avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures.
Do not expose to: organic solvents, ionizing radiation, ultraviolet light, direct light and sunlight.
Validity of intact packaging: 60 months.
Validity after opening: 24 months.
