Elleffe 100 Plus
Description
Food supplement of Lactoferrin, Folic Acid, Iodine and Vitamin C, useful in case of increased need or reduced dietary intake of these nutrients. The supplemental intake of folic acid increases the maternal folate status. A low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus. Iodine contributes to normal cognitive and nervous system functions. Vitamin C protects cells from oxidative stress and increases iron absorption.
Ingredients
Bulking agents: calcium carbonate, microcrystalline cellulose, calcium phosphates; lactoferrin (from milk ), vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid); anti-caking agents: polyvinylpolypyrrolidone, cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose, E471, silicon dioxide, E470b; coating agents: shellac, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, acetic acid esters of mono and diglycerides of fatty acids, E570, polyvinylpyrrolidone; colourants: E171, E120; folic acid (pteroylmonoglutamic acid), potassium iodide.
Gluten free. Contains milk , including lactose .

How to use
1 tablet per day at least 1 month before conception and throughout the first trimester of pregnancy. The tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of water or other liquid, preferably before meals. Supplementation can be extended according to medical advice based on specific needs. For correct use of the product, it is advisable to seek the advice of a doctor.
Warnings
Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Lactoferrin is a cow's milk protein; its use is not recommended in case of allergy to milk proteins.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light, humidity and direct heat sources. The date on the package refers to the product correctly stored, in an intact package.
