OPHTHALMIC SOLUTION IN BOTTLE

It moistens and lubricates the ocular surface and reduces the risk of tear film instability.
Although it has no pharmacological effect, it protects the corneal epithelium from possible damage caused by:
- adverse climatic and environmental conditions such as wind, cold, sun, saltiness, air conditioning, smoke, smog, fine dust;
- particular conditions of ophthalmic stress due to the use of contact lenses or prolonged work at video terminals or microscopes.
Useful when in particular conditions or following the intake of certain drugs, tearing is reduced, such as in menopause and during diabetes treatment.

How to use
Instill, when needed, even several times a day, one or two drops in each eye, letting them fall from above and avoiding the bottle touching the eyelashes or the ocular surface.

Warnings
For external use only.
It should not be used immediately before the administration of medicinal products for curative purposes, and within 5 minutes after the application of any topical drug therapy.
Do not use in conjunction with contact lenses.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the components or other closely related chemical substances.
Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Keep out of reach of children.

Side Effects
In rare cases, slight blurring of vision has been observed upon instillation, which is due to the viscosity of the solution. This sensation, however, disappears very quickly.
In some rare cases, intolerance (burning sensation and/or irritation) may occur.
The continuation of symptoms may be caused by the presence of the preservative. In this case, it is advisable to contact your eye doctor.
Following the instructions in the package leaflet reduces the risk of side effects.

Components
Sodium hyaluronate 0.2 g; sodium chloride; magnesium chloride; potassium chloride; monobasic sodium phosphate; dibasic sodium phosphate, trisodium citrate; thimerosal; water ppi

Conservation
It should be stored at a temperature between 2°C and 25°C.
The solution must be used within 4 weeks of first opening the bottle. After this period, discard any residue.
