Description
High-quality freeze-dried traditional kefir grains to make fresh kefir at home.
Rich in live lactic ferments and yeasts.

Ingredients
Lactococcus spp., Lactobacillus spp., Streptococcus spp., Leuconostoc spp., Saccharomyces spp., corn maltodextrins.

Allergens: milk and milk products (including lactose).

Free from gluten, GMOs, additives, flavors, preservatives, thickeners.

Instructions for use
To be consumed cold, natural or with the addition of jam, honey, fruit puree, etc.
Each packet is the dose for 1 liter of milk.
Using whole milk results in a thicker and more aromatic kefir.
1. Pour the contents of the packet into a container (glass or plastic jar), add 1 liter of milk at room temperature, and mix well to dissolve all the powder. Using whole milk results in a thicker and more aromatic kefir.
Place the lid on without sealing it tightly and put the container in a dark environment (cupboard/pantry).
2. Let Kefir Line rest until maturation:
- in an environment with a temperature of about 25°C to 30°C for 13/17 hours;
- in an environment with a temperature of about 20°C to 24°C for 24/48 hours;
- in an environment with a temperature of 16°C for 3/4 days.
3. Maturation occurs when the surface of the milk is slightly thickened (coagulation), gently touching it with a teaspoon should leave an "imprint".
Sometimes, you will also see bubbles of carbon dioxide in the milk, which will give the kefir its traditional slightly sparkling taste.
4. Once matured, place Kefir Line in the refrigerator for 24 hours without shaking it.
5. Before enjoying the kefir, gently stir to make it more homogeneous.
Note: Kefir Line always forms; if necessary, extend the maturation times (point 2) until it is achieved.
If whey (transparent liquid) forms on the surface of the kefir due to over-maturation, after cooling it in the refrigerator, it can be removed or mixed into the kefir, resulting in a more acidic taste.
