Food for special medical purposes in powder form based on highly purified hydrolyzed whey protein isolate, inositol, branched-chain amino acids, and vitamin D in the form of cholecalciferol (vitamin D3).
Daily intake of an adequate amount of whey protein (20 g) is useful for maintaining lean mass. The highly purified enzymatic hydrolyzed whey protein isolate in Dixypro HP has a very high biological value and a faster digestion rate, resulting in reduced gastrointestinal side effects. The intake of rapidly absorbed proteins, such as hydrolyzed whey proteins, offers a distinct advantage in terms of preserving lean mass compared to slowly absorbed proteins. Dixypro HP's WPH-90 has good digestibility, low lactose content, high biological value, and is rapidly assimilated. Branched-chain amino acids (leucine, isoleucine, and valine), unlike other amino acids, are metabolized in skeletal muscle. At rest, these three amino acids have an anabolic effect that helps preserve skeletal muscle. According to scientific literature, the average daily amount is 40 mg in a 2:1:1 ratio. Various studies have reported the important relationship between vitamin D, in the form of cholecalciferol (known as vitamin D3), and muscle functions. Directions for use
