Description
Food for special medical purposes. KetoCal 3:1 is a nutritionally complete powder formulation with a high fat content and low carbohydrate content. It contains a blend of oils, milk proteins, amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and trace elements. The ratio of fats to (carbohydrates + proteins) is 3:1.

Instructions for use
For enteral use only. The recommended dilution is 9.3% w/v (for example, 9.3 g of product in 90 ml of water up to a final volume of 100 ml). A higher dilution may be prescribed by the attending physician based on individual needs. To ensure that this high-fat food is well tolerated, when starting the ketogenic diet, it is recommended to initially administer a reduced volume at the lowest concentration. Ensure adequate fluid intake.

Warnings
To be used exclusively under medical supervision. Do not use for parenteral use. Indicated as the sole source of nutrition for infants and children in early childhood up to 3 years of age or as a supplement to the diet for infants and children over 3 years of age. Monitor in case of hypoglycemia, kidney stones, hyperlipidemia, and adequate growth. The powder product is not sterile. The product must be prepared immediately before administration. Do not boil and do not use a microwave oven to heat. Good oral hygiene is important for infants and children because prolonged or frequent contact with food and drinks increases the risk of dental caries. Ensure that the child's teeth are clean after the last nighttime meal. Ask your dentist for more information.

Storage
Store in a dry place away from heat sources.
Close the package tightly after use. Once opened, use the product within 1 month.
The powder formula is not sterile, so it is recommended, where possible, to prepare it immediately before administration and consume it within 1 hour.
If prepared in advance, refrigerate quickly at 2 to 4°C and consume within 24 hours.
Do not use the product after 24 hours from preparation.
