Description
A food for special medical purposes based on essential amino acids, HMB (beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate), vitamin C, and vitamin D, scientifically formulated for the dietary management of sarcopenia or conditions characterized by muscle decay (frailty, acute or chronic diseases accompanied by muscle mass loss) for which SarcoAct can promote the maintenance and recovery of muscle strength and mass.

Ingredients
Calcium beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate, L-leucine; acidifier: citric acid; trehalose**, L-lysine hydrochloride, L-isoleucine, L-valine, L-threonine, flavourings, L-histidine, L-cysteine, L-phenylalanine, natural flavouring, L-methionine; sweeteners: sucralose, acesulfame K; L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C), L-tyrosine, L-tryptophan; colour: beta-carotene; cholecalciferol (vitamin D).

Gluten and lactose-free.

Directions for use
It is recommended to take 1 or 2 sachets per day, unless otherwise directed by a doctor.
Enteral administration
Do not combine SarcoAct with other enteral nutrition formulas in the same bag.
Flush the tube with 40-50 ml of water before and after administering the product.
1. Dissolve the contents of one sachet (8 g) in 200 ml of water at room temperature, stirring until the product is completely dispersed.
2. Preferably use immediately after preparation, within 4 hours if stored at room temperature, within 24 hours if stored in the refrigerator.
Oral administration
Pour the contents of one sachet (8 g) into 200 ml of water at room temperature; stir until completely dispersed.
Consume immediately after preparation.

Warnings
Not for parenteral use. Not indicated as the sole source of nutrition. The product is not suitable for children. Use only under medical supervision. Do not take in case of known or suspected allergy or intolerance to one or more ingredients.

Storage
Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place, away from localized heat sources, direct light and humidity.
The minimum shelf life refers to the product in intact packaging, correctly stored. Do not dispose of in the environment after use.
