DUOCAL
Powder supplement consisting of a mixture of carbohydrates and fats high in medium-chain triglycerides (MCT). Dietary food intended for special medical purposes.It can be used as a supplement in the dietary management of diseases that require additional energy intake from a combined source of carbohydrates and fats, where there is fat malabsorption or where LCT absorption is incomplete. Duocal can be used to increase the energy intake of a wide variety of drinks and foods, as an energy supplement in tube feeding or orally, or it can be mixed with water to obtain a tasteless liquid, high in energy concentration and low in electrolytes.

Mixture of carbohydrates and fats high in medium-chain triglycerides (MCT).
Instructions for use
To obtain a solution of Duocal, mix the powder with a small amount of the prescribed water and then add the remaining water while vigorously stirring with a fork. The amount of Duocal must be determined exclusively by the doctor or dietitian and depends on the age, body weight, and clinical conditions of the patient. Duocal will be introduced gradually over a period of days in relation to the patient's tolerance.
Warnings
To be used exclusively under medical supervision. Do not use as the sole source of nutrition. Do not use parenterally. Close the jar tightly after use.
Storage
Store in a dry place away from heat sources. Once opened, consume within 1 month.
