Description
Longitudinal elastic adhesive bandage without latex or natural resins. Its extensibility is due to the special concatenation of the fabric, highly resistant in the warp/longitudinal direction. It has edges that prevent fraying, eliminating potential constriction laces on the end on which the bandage is applied. White fabric with a yellow central line to facilitate application. Synthetic rubber and zinc oxide adhesive with high adhesive strength to the skin. The adhesive formulation does not use either latex or natural rubber, furthermore the adhesive does not contain the typical proteins of natural rubber and resins, responsible for allergies, typical of products with latex. The adhesive is arranged on the fabric in the form of a thin uniform porous layer that allows transpiration, thus preventing maceration of the skin. It has edges free from adhesive in order to avoid lesions to the skin for bandages applied for long periods of treatment. Lenoplast Free has a rounded tube with a diameter of 18 mm, which facilitates the application of the bandage, avoiding causing cuts to the hands of healthcare personnel.
Recommended for support and functional bandages. In the treatment of muscle, tendon and joint pathologies. In the elastic-compressive treatment of vascular pathologies of the lower limb where high pressure is required at work (in movement). For fixing dressings in aesthetic and plastic surgery, post-operative, abdominal and thoracic surgery.
Size: 10cm x 2.7m relaxed; 4.5m stretched.
How to use
To fix dressings, apply the bandage without tension and delicately from the centre of the dressing towards the edges.
Sterilizable by gamma rays (γ rays) and ethylene oxide (EtO).
Components
100% bleached cotton stretch fabric.
Adhesive mass, without natural latex, spread thinly and evenly over the surface of the bandage.
Warnings
Contraindicated in diabetic subjects or patients suffering from arterial diseases.
Always apply the bandage to intact, clean, dry skin.
Never secure the ends or pull the bandage to secure the opposite end (may cause skin lesions).
Do not apply to the skin of patients with vascular diseases.
Conservation
Store in a cool (below 30°C) and dry place.
Validity with intact packaging: 3 years.
