Description
Food supplement based on plant sterols, red rice dry extract, green tea dry extract, coenzyme Q10 and folic acid which promotes normal lipid metabolism as part of an adequate dietary regimen.
Plant sterols interfere with cholesterol transport in micelles at the intestinal level, reducing the possibility that dietary cholesterol is absorbed through the transporters responsible for its internalization. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of at least 0.8 g of plant sterols/stanols.
Green tea has an antioxidant action.
Coenzyme Q10 is a powerful antioxidant synthesized in the liver, like cholesterol.
Folic acid allows for the reduction of plasma homocysteine levels, a metabolite with a damaging effect on the vascular endothelium.

Plant sterols (44.4%); bulking agents: dicalcium phosphate; green tea [Camellia sinensis (L.) Kuntze] dry extract titrated to 98% in total polyphenols, 70% total catechins, 40% EGCG, red rice (Oryza sativa L., seeds) fermented with Monascus purpureus Went. dry extract titrated in monacolins; anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids; coenzyme Q10, folic acid (pteroylmonoglutamic acid).

Gluten and lactose free.

How to use
Take 1 tablet a day with a glass of water. However, for the use of the product, it is advisable to consult a doctor.

Do not take in case of hypersensitivity or allergies to one or more components. Do not take a daily amount of 3 mg or more of monacolins from fermented red rice. The product should not be consumed by pregnant or breastfeeding women, children under 18 years of age and adults over 70 years of age. Consult a doctor about consuming this product in case of health problems. Do not take the product if you are being treated with lipid-lowering drugs. Do not take the product if you are already taking other products containing fermented red rice. In case of treatment with lipid-lowering drugs, consult your doctor before taking the product. The product is not intended for people who do not need to control their blood cholesterol levels; patients undergoing hypocholesterolemic treatment should only consume the product under medical supervision; the product may be nutritionally inadequate for pregnant women, breastfeeding women and children under five years of age; its intake should be part of a varied and balanced diet, which includes regular consumption of fruit and vegetables to help maintain carotenoid levels; consumption of more than 3 g/day of added plant sterols should be avoided; one tablet contains 0.4 g of plant sterols. Do not consume a daily amount equal to or greater than 800 mg of epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG). It should not be consumed if other green tea-containing products are consumed on the same day. It should not be consumed on an empty stomach.
