Description
Food supplement based on serenoa, pumpkin seeds, beta-sitosterols, vitamin E, zinc, lycopene and selenium which supports the normal trophism and physiological functionality of the prostate gland.
The main component of Prostavir is Serenoa repens (also called saw palmetto) which has an impressive literature behind it but above all a practice of decades of use. The main action of serenoa is to inhibit the transformation of Testosterone into Dihydrotestosterone which is responsible for the hyperplasia and hypertrophy of the cells of the prostate gland. This activity is achieved through the inhibition of the enzyme 5-Alpha Reductase.
Synergistic action with serenoa is provided by extracts of pumpkin seeds, another component of Prostavir. The dosage in dry extract is 150 mg. Another component of Prostavir is beta-sitosterols extracted from maritime pine. These components act directly on the prostate parenchyma, the symptoms both in terms of frequency of urination and urinary volume. These active ingredients are combined with a pool of antioxidants such as vitamin E, lycopene, zinc and selenium.

How to use
It is recommended to take 2 tablets per day in the attack phase and 1 tablet per day during maintenance.
It may be useful to combine treatment with Vigordem.
