EYE DROPSSterile ophthalmic solution with a hydrating and lubricating effect, containing 0.4% sodium hyaluronic acid of high molecular weight biotechnological origin. Sodium hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide that, in case of alterations of the tear film, restores its balance. Its concentration at 0.4% allows for greater hydration with a prolonged action over time. It is therefore indicated in all cases in which disorders caused by dry eyes occur. The solution also contains sodium hydroxymethylglycinate (NIG) as a preservative system.
Does not contain benzalkonium chloride.
It can also be used by contact lens wearers.
How to use
o Open the bottle.
o Instill 1-2 drops in each eye by lightly squeezing the bottle.
o After use, close the container immediately: the contents of the bottle can be reused within 28 days after first opening.
o The product in the bottle is for single-patient use.
o Repeat, if necessary, the operation 2-4 times a day.
o Contact lens wearers may apply 1-2 drops of solution to each lens prior to insertion, to keep the eye moist and lubricated.
Components
Hyaluronic acid sodium salt 0.4%, sodium hydroxymethylglycinate, sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, sodium phosphate dibasic dodecahydrate, sodium chloride, EDTA, water for injections.
Warnings
The product is for external ophthalmic use only. Do not use the product if the container is damaged or not perfectly closed when first opened. Wait at least 15 minutes after use before instilling drugs for external ophthalmic use. During application, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the dispensing end of the container. Do not use in case of known incompatibility with any component of the preparation. Keep the preparation out of the reach of children. In case of discomfort during use, suspend treatment and consult a doctor. In some cases, after administration, a brief blurring of vision has been observed due to the density of the solution, which however disappears very quickly.
Conservation
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package. If the packaging is intact, do not exceed the expiry date indicated on the carton and on the bottle.
Format
Multidose bottle containing 10 ml of sterile solution.
