J BIMBI BFREE SUPER GLASS 260 ML GLASS BOTTLE WITH ANTI-COLIC TUBE AND SILICONE TEAT COLPHARMA
COLPHARMA
J Kids
Bottle composed of:
cork;
bezel;
teat;
sealing disc;
white plastic holder for low vacuum valve;
silicone anti-drip low vacuum valve;
zero bubble cannula (not included in 330 ml bottles);
baby bottle;
zero bubble cannula brush (not included in 330 ml bottles).
How to use
Before first use, wash all components thoroughly in hot water and detergent and sterilize in boiling water for 5 minutes. If using a sterilizer, follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Before assembling the bottle in all its parts, wash your hands thoroughly.
Pour breast milk or formula into the bottle and heat to 37°C. Make sure the formula is mixed according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Insert the white holder into the silicone low vacuum valve.
Please check that:
a. there is no space between the valve and its white support;
b. the slit is open before starting the feed.
- Insert the zero-bubble cannula (not included in the 330 ml bottles) into the low vacuum valve. The zero-bubble cannula prevents the formation of air bubbles in the milk which, if swallowed, could cause colic and gastric reflux. The cannula can be removed when the baby stops suffering from colic. Never remove the silicone low vacuum valve. The low vacuum in the bottle can prevent, in the first years of life, possible ear infections.
- Insert the low vacuum valve with the zero bubble cannula into the opening of the bottle.
- Place the teat into the ring and screw the ring onto the bottle (do not tighten too much to allow for optimal ventilation).
- To mix the powdered milk, quickly rotate the bottle.
- As a precaution, it is recommended to check the temperature of the liquid by pouring a few drops on the back of your hand.
- Breastfeed the baby while holding him on your lap in a semi-upright position.
- After feeding, disassemble all parts of the bottle and wash them in warm, soapy water. We recommend using the Twister bottle brush set to clean the bottle and teat.
- Use the special brush provided to clean the inside of the zero-bubble cannula (not included in the 330ml bottles) but do not use it to clean the low vacuum valve or the teat as this may puncture them.
- After carefully washing the bottle and all its components, repeat point 1 or store in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children.
Before heating liquids in the bottle, loosen or remove the ring with the teat to avoid overheating the contents.
To ensure proper operation of the low vacuum valve, make sure that:
- there is no space between the white valve holder and the valve itself;
- the slit is open before feeding;
- the ring is screwed on tightly, but not too tight.
When travelling, use the appropriate cap and sealing disc to avoid leaks and drips from the teat.
CLEANING
After each use it is important to wash the bottle and all its components thoroughly.
Do not use solvents or abrasive products for cleaning.
Do not dry the bottle on surfaces treated with antibacterials. Excessive concentrations can cause cracks in the bottle.
All components can be washed in the dishwasher, in the top rack.
Do not leave components immersed in cleaning solutions for long periods as the silicone and plastic may be damaged.
THE TEDDY BREAST
Use only J BIMBI teats.
The bottles are supplied with the following teats:
Level 1: SLOW FLOW - 160ml, 260ml.
Level 2: MEDIUM FLOW - 330 ml.
Additional teats:
Level 00: SUPER SLOW FLOW, months 00+.
Also suitable for premature babies.
Level 3: FAST FLOW, 6+ months.
It can also be used as a MEDIUM FLOW teat with medium density liquids.
Level 4: DENSE FLUIDS (Y cut), months 6+.
It can be used as a FAST FLOW for all types of liquids, including thicker powdered milks and cereals.
VARIABLE FLOW, 3+ months.
Combination of levels 2, 3 and 4 in one teat.
These flow/age characteristics are indicative. Hungrier babies may progress from one level to another more quickly than indicated.
Check the teat carefully before each use and pull it in all directions. Replace it if it is damaged or punctured (e.g. bitten).
For hygiene reasons, it is recommended to replace the teat every 6-8 weeks.
Do not leave teats in sterilizing solutions longer than recommended by the manufacturer's instructions, do not expose them to direct sunlight or heat for prolonged periods.
Warnings
Temperature fluctuations can cause the bottle to crack or break. Before each use, carefully check that the neck of the bottle has no sharp edges and that there are no fragments inside. Do not use the bottle if there are cracks or fragments of glass inside.
Keep all components out of reach of children.
Heating liquids in the microwave is not recommended because they may heat unevenly. Always check the temperature of the liquid before administration.
Always use this product under adult supervision. Do not leave the bottle unattended within reach of a child – it could be dangerous.
Do not use the teat as a pacifier.
The continued and prolonged habit of sucking liquids during the day and especially at night – when salivation is reduced – can cause tooth decay, even if the liquids are not sugary.
Do not put bottles containing liquids in your bag or suitcase. If the bottle is accidentally damaged, its contents may leak.
