BioXtra
GEL AND ORAL SPRAYSaliva substitute, in gel and spray, composed of special polymers and copolymers of cellulose that give the product strong lubricating, moisturizing and protective properties of long duration. Indicated in the treatment of Xerostomia (dry mouth) and all forms of salivary hyposecretion of any origin and intensity and especially when a replacement treatment is necessary for the inability of the salivary glands to recover their function due to autoimmune diseases (Sjogren), oncological radiotherapy, chemotherapy or pharmacological therapies with psychotropic drugs.
Dosage and Directions for Use
Mild, medium severity xerostomia apply a small amount (0.5/1 cm) with a finger or cotton bud along the gum line, distributing evenly at least 3 times a day. High intensity xerostomia apply an amount corresponding to 1-3 cm directly on the tongue and distribute evenly throughout the oral cavity at least 4 times a day or as needed, with particular care in the evening application. The use of the spray is relative to the need; in any case at least 3-4 times a day.
Warnings
Close the tube or bottle after use and store away from heat sources. Do not use BioXtra® in combination with toothpastes containing synthetic detergent bases, foaming surfactants.
