Description
A sterile, hypotonic, preservative-free ophthalmic emulsion that appears as a milky liquid.
Cationorm is indicated for the treatment of dry eye symptoms such as pain, itching, burning, or a foreign body sensation (like sand or dust) in the eyes. These symptoms may be caused by external factors such as air conditioning, pollution, air travel, working on video terminals, refractive surgery, contact lens use, etc., or by conditions such as Meibomian gland dysfunction.
Cationorm moisturizes, lubricates, and protects the ocular surface.

Directions for use
Ophthalmic use.
The dosage is 1 drop in each eye, 1 to 4 times a day.

Wash your hands. When using the bottle for the first time, remove the safety ring from the cap by pulling the tab. Open the bottle by gently pulling the cap.
Hold the body of the bottle between your thumb and forefinger. Avoid any contact of the bottle tip with your fingers. Tilt your head back. Gently pull down your lower eyelid and look up. Bring the bottle close to your eye and rest the back of your hand on your forehead. Press lightly to instill 1 drop into the eye and blink several times.
Do not touch the eye or eyelashes with the tip of the bottle.
Replace the cap on the bottle after each use.

Ingredients
Mineral oils, glycerol, tyloxapol, poloxamer 188, tris-hydrochloride, tromethamine, cetalkonium chloride (as a cationic agent), purified water.

Warnings
Do not use Cationorm if you are allergic to any of the product's ingredients.
This product is not indicated for the treatment of other eye conditions. For more information, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
If other eye drops are used concomitantly, it is advisable to wait at least 5 minutes between administrations of each eye drop. It is recommended to use Cationorm last.
Cationorm is compatible with all types of contact lenses.
In very rare cases, a temporary feeling of discomfort may occur, such as: eye irritation, eye pain, foreign body sensation in the eye, eye redness, itching sensation, excessive tearing, burning sensation, temporarily blurred vision, eyelid inflammation, or eyelid edema. These symptoms are typical manifestations of dry eye syndrome associated with the patient's pre-existing eye conditions. If you experience any side effects not listed in the leaflet, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use if the bottle is damaged.

Storage
Store the bottle in its outer packaging at room temperature, below 30°C.
Shelf life before opening: 24 months.
Shelf life after opening: 3 months.
