ORTHOStabigib Bivalve Anklet
Indicated in cases of severe or moderate ankle sprains and lateral stabilization of the ankle joint.
Contraindicated in cases of severe trauma requiring orthopedic or surgical treatment.
How to use
Adjust the distance between the two valves, at heel level, by acting on the lateral straps of the heel.
Apply the valves to both sides of the ankle so as to cover the malleoli.
Apply and tighten the bottom strap.
Place the foot wearing the orthosis into a spacious, stable shoe (the shoe must be adjustable with laces or a self-adhesive closure).
Adjust the closure of the shoe.
Apply the top strap.
After a few days of use, the straps may loosen, in which case tighten them properly again.
If a localized disturbance occurs, loosen the straps and reposition the valves.
The air cushions are already pressurized so that no further adjustments are required, however the supplied tube allows you to inflate or deflate them if necessary.
To ensure a longer product life, it is advisable to follow the following washing instructions:
- Clean plastic parts with a damp cloth.
- The removable side protections can be hand washed in water at 30°C with neutral soap or detergent.
- Rinse thoroughly.
- Do not wring.
- Leave to dry horizontally.
- Do not iron.
