Description
Coloplast Irrigation Set is a complete system for performing irrigation, a practice that regulates bowel emptying in colostomy patients.
This is a medical device.
Each set includes:
- 1 water bag complete with tube and flow regulator: holds up to 2 litres of water and is equipped with a graduated scale. The bag also has a built-in thermometer that allows a clear reading of the water temperature;
- bag tube: equipped with a flow regulator which, through a small wheel inserted in a transparent housing, allows you to detect the water inlet speed and consequently regulate it using a simple manual device;
- 1 irrigation cone complete with tube: made of soft material and has an anatomical shape, so that it can also be used with a small stoma;
- 1 support plate: white, diamond-shaped and is used for the application of the drainage bag, if the patient uses a one-piece collection device;
- 1 belt: elastic and adjustable. It is connected to the plate and is used to keep the plate itself (and consequently the drainage bag) in place during irrigation;
- 5 drain bags: with clipper, can be combined with the support plate (diameter 60 mm);
- 10 Sensura Mio adhesive drainage bags;
- 3 one-piece adhesive minicaps;
- 1 case: containing all the components of the set;
- Clips: used to close the waste bag at the top and bottom ends.
