Adjuvant treatment of reparative processes of the ano-rectal canal after proctologic surgery, internal and external hemorrhoids, proctitis, cryptitis, anal fissures, fissures, perianal fistulas.
It performs its activity thanks to the presence of white petrolatum, paraffin oil, and hyaluronic acid which, due to their water-retaining capabilities, create a moist environment that hydrates, accelerates and improves the natural re-epithelialization and tissue repair process.

Instructions for use
Adults and children: apply twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, if possible after bowel movements.
Wash hands before and after using the medical device.
Break the tube seal with the cap's back. Apply an adequate amount of product depending on the area to be treated with a light massage. Close the tube with the cap.
Any intrarectal application is facilitated by the special cannula included in the package.
Screw the cannula onto the tube. Remove the cap from the cannula. Press the tube until the ointment comes out of the holes in the cannula. Insert the cannula into the anal cavity and press the tube again to release some ointment. After use, clean the cannula and cover it with the protective cap.
It is recommended to use the medical device personally.
If necessary, PROKTIS-M PLUS rectal ointment can be used for prolonged periods; in any case, after 30 days of continuous use, suspend the treatment for one week.

Components
White petrolatum and paraffin oil (953 mg/g), hyaluronic acid sodium salt (0.1 mg/g), propylene glycol, laureth-9, escin beta-sitosterol phytosome, glycyrrhetinic acid phytosome, BHT.

Warnings
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Do not ingest.
In case of pregnancy or breastfeeding, specific clinical studies have not been conducted, consult your doctor before using the device.
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to any of the product components.
No interactions with other products are known, therefore it is advisable to consult your doctor before using PROKTIS-M PLUS rectal ointment in combination with other medical devices or rectal medications.
The use, especially if prolonged, of all topical products could lead to sensitization phenomena. In such cases, or if other undesirable effects are found, stop the treatment and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
After first opening, do not use the product if there are visible signs of degradation such as yellowing or unpleasant odor.

Storage
Keep tightly closed away from light and heat.
The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging, correctly stored. Do not use beyond the expiry date or if the package is open or damaged.
Validity of intact packaging: 36 months.
