Description
Supplement based on coenzyme Q10, vitamin E, lutein and zeaxanthin.
Coenzyme Q10: component of the mitochondrial respiratory chain and constituent of all membranes, it is biosynthesized in the body. The normal production of this substance, which is essential for the human body, can be compromised by the physiological decay and slowing of cellular activities.
Vitamin E: alpha-tocopherol, is a substance of exogenous origin that carries out its antioxidant role by transforming into tocopheryl-o. Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Lutein and zeaxanthin: belong to the carotenoid family. They are found in many tissues of the human body and are particularly concentrated in the central part of the retina, the macula lutea, of which they constitute the most important pigments. Lutein is able to promote the physiological functionality of the macula and retina.
