Description
Food for special medical purposes for use in the dietary management of epilepsy intractable by the ketogenic diet or for fat malabsorption, such as cystic fibrosis or chronic liver disease. MCT oil is not a source of essential fatty acids or fat-soluble vitamins.
Suitable for babies, children and adults.
How to use
MCT oil can be mixed with liquids or used as part of a modular meal. MCT oil should be introduced slowly into the diet as rapid absorption of large amounts can cause vomiting or diarrhea.
Conservation
Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, at a temperature between 4°C and 25°C.
Validity for intact package: 36 months.
Validity after first opening: 1 month.
