Description
Disposable medical device in the form of a glycerol-based suppository, indicated to facilitate evacuation in the case of constipation.
Glycerol exerts a mechanical laxative action thanks to its mechanism of attracting water into the feces, softening them and causing peristalsis and intestinal evacuation.
Falqui is indicated for the short-term treatment of occasional constipation.
How to use
Remove the wrapper by separating the two flaps and extract the suppository. If the suppositories appear softened, immerse the wrapper in cold water before opening. Insert the suppository into the rectum, inserting the pointed part first. Wash your hands after inserting the suppository.
Adults: 1 suppository as needed, for a maximum of 1 or 2 administrations per day.
Components
1 suppository contains 2,250 mg glycerol.
Warnings
Single-use device. Do not use if you have hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components. In case of persistent constipation, it is important to consult your doctor to rule out other pathologies. Keep out of reach of children. Laxatives should be used as infrequently as possible and for no more than seven days. Use for longer periods of time requires a doctor's prescription after adequate evaluation of the individual case. In cases of constipation, it is recommended first of all to correct eating habits by integrating the daily diet with an adequate intake of fiber and water. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this product. There are no studies available on the use of the product during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The expiry date refers to the intact and correctly stored product.
Conservation
Store in a dry place at a temperature between 4°C and 30°C, away from heat sources and protected from direct light.
