Description

Laxative indicated for the treatment of occasional and chronic constipation in adults, adolescents, and children.
Preservative-free.

Instructions for use
Open a sachet and pour the contents into a drink glass (200 ml). Fill with still water (not carbonated). Stir well for about 10-15 seconds and drink immediately after diluting the powder. Alternatively, tea, herbal tea, milk, yogurt, fruit juices, or freshly squeezed juices can be used instead of water. Any increase in the consistency of the solution is a characteristic of the product. For optimal results, it is recommended to drink 1-2 glasses of water afterwards.
Nostip complex oral solution powder can be taken at any time of day, at least half an hour before going to bed.
- Adults: 2 sachets a day, preferably morning and evening.
- Children and adolescents aged 3 to 14: 1 sachet a day.
In general, the treatment duration is about 2 weeks. If constipation is caused by a disease such as Parkinson's disease or multiple sclerosis, or if other products causing constipation are being taken, the doctor may recommend taking Nostip complex oral solution powder for a longer period than 2 weeks. Generally, for long-term treatment, the dose is 1 sachet per day.

Components
Polyethylene glycol, psyllium seeds (Plantago psyllium) husk, guar gum, citric acid, orange flavor, silicon dioxide; sweeteners: sorbitol, acesulfame K, sucralose.

Gluten-free.

Warnings
The Nostip complex oral solution powder medical device is usually well tolerated because its mechanism of action is physical/mechanical and does not depend on systemic absorption. During intake, side effects such as indigestion, stomach pain or rumbling, bloating, flatulence, nausea, vomiting, anal irritation, and mild diarrhea may occur. These are undesirable effects that improve by reducing the dose. In case of allergic reactions, discontinue product use and contact your doctor. If you experience any side effects, described or not in the leaflet, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
In case of sugar intolerance, consult your doctor before taking Nostip complex oral solution powder. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes.
Do not use in case of: esophageal or gastrointestinal stenosis; bowel blockage (intestinal obstruction, ileus); intestinal wall perforation; severe bowel disease such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, or toxic megacolon; individual hypersensitivity to any of the product's components. The safety of Nostip complex oral solution powder during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been demonstrated. In such circumstances, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
Due to the increased gastrointestinal transit speed induced by Nostip complex oral solution powder, there is a possibility that its concomitant use with other products or medications may temporarily reduce their intestinal absorption. Furthermore, psyllium seeds may potentiate the effect of cholesterol-lowering and hypoglycemic products or medications. Therefore, in such circumstances, it is advisable to take Nostip complex oral solution powder at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after taking such products or medications; however, it is always advisable to consult your doctor.
Do not use beyond the expiry date or if the packaging is open or damaged.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from light and heat.
The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored in an intact package.
Shelf life unopened: 36 months.
