DescriptionMedical device with osmotic action based on Macrogol 3350.
With a laxative action which, through an osmotic mechanism, regulates intestinal functions in a natural way.
Macrogol is an inert, water-soluble, high molecular weight polymer that has the ability to determine rehydration and softening of the stool. Macrogol is not absorbed or metabolized in the gastrointestinal tract, does not irritate the mucosa, and is eliminated in unchanged form.
Indicated in the treatment of chronic constipation and in cases of occasionally irregular bowel movements. In fact, thanks to the interaction with water, it softens the stool and promotes peristalsis, facilitating evacuation, without creating electrolyte imbalances.
Ingredients
Macrogol (polyethylene glycol 3350), flavouring, sucralose.
How to use
Adults and children over 12 years of age: take 2 sachets of 5.07 g up to a maximum of 3 times a day, dissolved in a glass of water of approximately 100 ml. To be taken 8 hours apart, preferably away from meals.
Children (2-12 years):
- from 2 to 4 years (weight 10-15 kg): take 1-2 sachets per day;
- from 5 to 12 years (weight 16 kg): take 2-3 sachets per day.
The children's dose must be dissolved in half a glass of water (about 50 ml) after 8 hours, preferably away from meals.
Suitable for children over two years old.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat sources.
