Description
Non-sterile Class I Medical Device. The medical device is intended for cleaning the oral cavity of patients with motor disabilities (for example after strokes and intubated patients). The product is intended for professional users. Using the device it is possible to moisten the oral cavity during cleaning. The device is intended for temporary use.
Each device consists of a stick that allows a firm grip and a small sponge. The sponge has two smooth sides for gentle cleaning and three rough sides for more thorough cleaning and effective removal of residues. Disposable. The single-bag packaging guarantees maximum hygiene and allows the device to be protected until use.
Features and materials :
-Length of the stick: about 13cm;
-PP stick;
-Sponge dimensions: width 1.5 cm; height 2.5 cm; depth 1 cm;
-Sponge made of PP, density approximately 25 kg/ m3 ;
-Absorption capacity of the sponge approximately 100 gr/100 cm3 ;
-Sponge tensile strength capacity about 15N;
-Sponge extension capacity approximately 10N/cm;
-Permanent deformation after extension not more than 10%;
-Green color.
How to use
-The device is equipped with two smooth faces for gentle cleaning and three rough faces for deeper cleaning and more effective residue removal.
-The device is intended for cleaning the oral cavity.
-Before use, check that the packaging is not damaged.
-Open the single stick package and remove it.
-Apply your usual moisturizing preparation to the swab.
-Perform oral cleaning.
-After use, dispose of the product in accordance with current regulations.
Warnings
-The device is intended for professional use and is indicated exclusively for cleaning the oral cavity.
-Do not insert the swab deep into the patient's throat (oropharynx) to avoid the risk of choking.
-After use, check that there are no sponge residues left in the oral cavity.
-The device is single-use and must be disposed of after use.
-Do not use if package is damaged.
-Use immediately after opening the package.
-Reuse carries risks to the life and health of the patient.
