Kaloidon TiO 2 MD
Description
Medical device in cream that helps prevent the formation of hypertrophic scars after surgery, burns and scalds; on developed scars and keloids, its application makes the tissue more elastic and hydrated.
Applied to the affected area, it forms a gas-permeable, flexible and waterproof film; it adheres to the stratum corneum forming a protective barrier that promotes hydration.
The presence of physical sunscreens supports the action of silicones, protecting scars from sun exposure, which often causes poor healing, as well as possible darkening. The sunscreens present form a physical shield that prevents radiation from reaching the scar tissue without interfering with physiological processes. The semi-solid form of the cream allows application on irregular surfaces, such as the face, mobile parts (joints and flexures) and on scars of any size.
On particularly thickened scars it can also be applied as a compress.
Constant application prevents the degeneration of recently formed scars and promotes the flattening of existing ones.
Trace nickel less than 0.0001%.
How to use
Make sure the skin is intact and the scar has formed.
Make sure the skin is clean and dry. Apply the product with circular movements ensuring that an even layer is applied.
In case of scars located in areas exposed to the sun, apply a thicker layer of product and make sure that the entire scar is perfectly covered.
Apply the product several times a day and to obtain better aesthetic results, the treatment must continue for at least 6 months.
Components
Titanium dioxide; polysilicone-11; allantoin; allium cepa bulb extract.
Warnings
Do not use on damaged skin. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not use in the presence of dermatological diseases that alter the integrity of the skin. Use with clean hands. In case of irritation, stop treatment and consult your doctor. Do not use at the same time as other topical products. External use. Do not use if the package is open or damaged. Keep out of reach of children. Close the cap tightly after each use. Do not use after the expiry date on the package. Do not use the product if you are known to be sensitive to one or more components.
