Property
English: Plant-based protein sources do not provide cholesterol and are characterized by very low levels of saturated fats: the best known and most used of these is Soy, potentially allergenic and also rich in phytoestrogens (which can reach high levels when used as the main protein source). Rice grains contain approximately 7% proteins, which are extracted through wet grinding to facilitate separation from the starch and other macronutrients present. According to FAO data, these are the cereal proteins with the highest biological value, that is, they are characterized by a high propensity to be assimilated and transformed by the body. The high protein content (85%) makes the raw material used comparable to soy and whey in terms of amino acid composition and concentration of essential amino acids, and distinguishes it from the previous ones in terms of nutritional value and absence of allergenic properties. These characteristics are also typical of proteins extracted from Pea . They boast a high and balanced content of essential branched chain amino acids such as Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine, presenting an effective and proven muscle promoting activity comparable to that of proteins derived from whey. They complete the amino acid profile of the product with a high intake of Lysine, an amino acid that rice proteins lack. The combination of the two protein sources ensures the assimilation of a sufficient daily quantity of essential amino acids and the balancing of the composition of some microelements. Peas also represent a precious source of minerals (magnesium, calcium, iron and zinc) and B vitamins. Panmol Vitamin D is a Quinoa sprout powder rich in biologically active vitamin D3, obtained following a researched, innovative and patented production process that guarantees high bioavailability and a wide range of optimal functions. It regulates protein synthesis and is essential for the correct development and maintenance of the functionality of the muscular system. Recent studies highlight significant trends in improving muscle strength in athletes after vitamin D3 supplementation. It also plays an essential role in regulating calcium homeostasis in combination with parathyroid hormone, which is necessary for the development and maintenance of strong bones. B vitamins are essential for feeling good and energetic, as they act as cofactors in the metabolism of all macronutrients (especially proteins and glycogen). They regulate the synthesis and activity of steroid hormones, vitamin D and some neurotransmitters, with direct effects on psychological function, mental performance and physiological activity of the nervous system. They are involved in the regulation of cell division, particularly in the formation of red blood cells, resulting in a reduction in the feeling of fatigue. Spirulina is a blue-green freshwater algae with a high concentration of nutrients, making it an ideal food for people of all ages and with different lifestyles. Its restorative power depends on the high concentration of vitamins (especially A, B, beta-carotene, D, K, E), minerals (iron, potassium, magnesium, selenium, calcium) and a significant protein content (60-70 g/100 g) with highly bioavailable amino acids. In particular, it provides the amino acid Phenylalanine, useful for controlling the feeling of hunger. Unlike other seaweeds, it does not provide significant quantities of salt and iodine and instead contains small quantities of bicarbonates indicated for restoring the acid-base balance of tissues. Beetroot is considered one of the vegetables with the greatest antioxidant and anti-radical activity, particularly exhibited by Betaines and other phenolic compounds. They increase the cellular protection action from damage caused by free radicals, with a potential protective role against the development of numerous chronic-degenerative diseases affecting the nervous system (e.g. Alzheimer's and Parkinson's) or the circulatory system (atherosclerosis), where they are able to reduce circulating oxidized LDL and improve vascular function. Beetroot is a valuable source of biologically active substances, minerals (potassium, sodium, phosphorus, calcium and magnesium) and vitamins.
