Description
Food supplement based on iron, vitamin C, folic acid (folate) and vitamin B12, useful for providing an additional intake of these nutrients in the presence of dietary deficiencies or increased organic needs. Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin and to the normal transport of oxygen in the body; together with vitamin C, vitamin B12 and folate, it contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, it contributes to normal energy metabolism and normal cognitive function. Vitamin C increases iron absorption. Supplemental intake of folic acid increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus. Folate contributes to normal hematopoiesis and to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy. Vitamin B12 also contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells. Naturcaps: vegetable capsule, derived from cellulose.

Lipofer (corn starch, ferric pyrophosphate; emulsifier: lecithin); bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose; coating agent: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid); anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids; vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin), Quatrefolic [(6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid, glucosamine salt].

Directions for use
It is recommended to take 1-2 naturcaps per day, swallowed with plenty of water. For women of childbearing age, the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily supplemental intake of 400 mcg of folic acid (2 naturcaps) for at least one month before and up to three months after conception.
