KELASTIC FOIL TAPE CM 2.5X1.5 M GABOL
KELASTIC
Foil Tape
Description
Soft, thin, reusable, self-adhesive silicone gel sheet. It is mainly made of medical grade silicone.
Kelastic Lamina is effective both in the management of old and new hypertrophic or keloid scars and as a prophylactic treatment of closed wounds to prevent hypertrophic or keloid scars. Do not use on broken skin.
How to use
Wash your hands before using Kelastic Lamina.
Gently cleanse the scar and surrounding skin with a mild soap and rinse with clean warm water. Dry the scar and surrounding skin thoroughly.
Take the silicone sheet from the pouch. Cut the silicone sheet, if necessary, to fit the size of the scar with a small overlap on the surrounding skin. Remove the film from the silicone sheet. Apply Kelastic sheet with the adhesive side to the scar, without stretching it. If necessary, use a light bandage or tape to keep the silicone sheet in place.
Wash the silicone sheet, scar, and surrounding skin at least twice daily with mild soap and rinse with clean warm water.
Warnings
For external use only.
Use temporarily in the treatment of old and new hypertrophic or keloid scars.
Use temporarily as a prophylactic treatment of closed wounds to prevent hypertrophic or keloid scars.
Do not use on broken skin.
Wash the product twice daily with a mild, non-oily soap (baby soaps are recommended) and rinse with clean, warm water. Once dried, Kelastic foil can be reapplied to the scar. Avoid using irritating cleansers as they may cause skin irritation. Do not use paper products to dry the foil as they may stick to the foil.
In hot weather or during physical activity in case of increased sweating, the foil should be cleaned more often to maintain optimal contact with the skin.
If possible, apply Kelastic Lamina no less than 20 hours a day. During therapy, apply for no less than 12 hours a day.
In order to better acclimatize the skin, start by applying Kelastic Lamina for 4 hours a day for the first two days, 8 hours for the next two days, and increase the use time by two hours a day until the optimal therapy time of 24 hours a day is reached.
It is recommended to clean the scar before using the sheet, in order to reduce the symptoms of discomfort and itching.
Avoid applying ointments to the treated area as they may interfere with the performance of the product.
When Kelastic Lamina begins to deteriorate or cleaning is difficult, it should be replaced. The result of effective therapy is achieved in 2-4 months of continuous treatment.
If a rash develops on the treated area, the daily application time may be reduced. If the rash persists, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor. Do not use on unhealed wounds.
Side effects that may occur include: superficial maceration of the skin; rash; itching.
Avoid using Kelastic Lamina if you are allergic to silicone rubber.
Do not use on unhealed wounds.
