Iodofolin 2.0
Iodine and folic acid food supplement. Iodine contributes to the normal growth of children, helps the normal functioning of the cognitive and nervous system, supports the maintenance of the production of thyroid hormones and the physiological function of the thyroid. Folic acid contributes to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy and to normal hematopoiesis. In women of childbearing age, the supplemental intake of folic acid increases the maternal folate status. A low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus. By virtue of the amount of folic acid present, iodofolin 2.0 is indicated to supplement the diet of women of childbearing age and during pregnancy. iodofolin 2.0 is also indicated for the integration of folic acid and iodine in the diet of adolescents between 11 and 17 years and during breastfeeding.

Bulking agents: dibasic calcium phosphate and microcrystalline cellulose; anti-caking agents: magnesium stearate, talc and silicon dioxide (nano); folic acid; iodine (potassium iodide).

How to use
1 tablet per day.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The product is contraindicated in people with known hypersensitivity to the components. Keep out of reach of children under three years of age. Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. The beneficial effect on increasing maternal folate status is obtained with a daily supplementary intake of folic acid of 400 mcg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception. Consult your doctor before use if your thyroid conditions are abnormal.
Conservation
Store away from light and in a cool, dry place. The expiry date indicated refers to the product in its intact packaging, stored correctly.
