Description
Thinning vials with hyaluronic acid in single-dose format, preservative-free, for nebulization, acts through various mechanisms that facilitate the movement of secretions in the respiratory tract, improving breathing in the following ways:
- breaking ionic bonds in the mucous gel, thus reducing the level of secretion viscosity and elasticity;
- absorbing water from the mucosa and submucosa, thereby reducing swelling from the walls of the respiratory tract;
- inducing cough and expectoration, which can help eliminate mucus from the bronchi, improving obstruction in the respiratory tract.
Isomar Thinning Vials with hyaluronic acid, in inhalation therapy, is particularly indicated for patients suffering from bronchiolitis, acute bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It can also be used as a vehicle for other inhalation pharmaceutical products.
Instructions for use
It is recommended to use in pneumatic nebulizers with which optimal operational results have been achieved. It is advisable to follow the usage instructions provided by the device manufacturer. Use 4 or 5 ml of solution in inhalation therapy according to medical prescription.
Components
Sterile solution of sodium chloride 3%, sodium hyaluronate.
Warnings
- Keep out of reach of children.
- This product is preservative-free. After opening, the vial must be used immediately and discarded after use to avoid the risk of contamination and causing any infection.
- Do not use in combination with other medications unless indicated by a doctor.
- In very sensitive patients, administration should be carried out according to medical prescription, as prior administration of a bronchodilator may be necessary.
- In case of bronchospasms or persistent cough, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor.
- Do not use the product after the expiration date.
- Do not use if the vial is damaged.
Storage
Do not store at a temperature above 25°C.
