Description
CE 0426 Medical Device (Dir. 93/42/EEC), class IIa. Stopper is effectively used in cases of accelerated intestinal transit (acute and chronic diarrhea), in the presence of ileostomy or ileoanal anastomosis or following digestive system surgery, including obesity surgery, in cases of diarrheal bowel movements due to irritable bowel syndrome, in cases of "traveler's diarrhea" or to improve fecal continence in the presence of fluid stool. Lemon flavor.

Ingredients
Diosmectite, orange flavor, citric acid, silicon dioxide, acesulfame K, sucralose.

How to use
Adults: 1 sachet in 100 ml of liquid 3 times a day.
Children >6 years: 2-3 sachets per day.
Children >2 years: 1-2 sachets per day.
It is advisable to consult a doctor before administering the product to children.
Each sachet should only be used once after opening. Dilute the contents of one sachet in a glass of water or other liquid. For children, the contents of one sachet can be resuspended in 50 ml of water in a baby bottle or mixed with any other beverage and divided into 2-3 doses throughout the day. Stopper can be dissolved in semi-solid foods. To obtain a homogeneous suspension, slowly pour the powder into the liquid and mix well. It is recommended to take Stopper between main meals.
In children, the treatment of acute diarrhea must be accompanied by the administration of an oral rehydration solution (ORS) to avoid dehydration.
In adults, if necessary, it is advisable to take ORS during treatment with Stopper to ensure proper rehydration.

Warnings
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use for more than 10 consecutive days, unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor. If symptoms persist, contact your doctor. In children, if diarrhea persists for more than 3 days, consult a doctor. Do not take the product while lying down. Do not use the device after the expiration date indicated on the box or sachet. Do not use if the package is damaged.
Each sachet is for single use and should be opened only immediately before consumption: do not reuse partially used sachets, as this may lead to risks such as ineffectiveness or contamination of the product.
Do not exceed the recommended dose; in case of adverse effects (constipation, abdominal pain, flatulence) discontinue use and consult a doctor.
In case of adverse effects other than those listed in this leaflet, consult your doctor.
Do not use in the presence of gastric or intestinal lesions or in cases of chronic constipation, intestinal irritation, or intestinal blockage. Do not take the medical device while using other oral devices or medicines: the adsorbing effect of diosmectite can negatively affect their effectiveness. The medical device contains aluminum derived from Diosmectite: in case of concomitant intake of other products or drugs based on Diosmectite, clays, or aluminum compounds, consult your doctor. Consult your doctor before taking Stopper in case of concomitant pharmacological therapies.

Side effects
There are no known long-term side effects related to the use of the device. In case of overdose, constipation may occur. In case of side effects other than those listed, contact your doctor.

Contraindications
Do not administer the product to children under 2 years of age. Do not take the device if you have a known hypersensitivity to the components. Do not take the device during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Storage
Store at controlled room temperature (<25°C) avoiding exposure to direct sources of heat, light, and humidity.
Validity with intact packaging: 30 months.
