Adjuvant treatment for reparative processes in atrophic and dystrophic states of the vaginal mucosa. Promotes healing in the postpartum period, in gynecological surgery, in dystrophies resulting from chemotherapy and ionizing radiation. Treatment of vaginal dryness of various origins.
It exerts its activity thanks to the presence of hyaluronic acid, a mucopolysaccharide abundantly distributed in many body tissues.
Thanks to its ability to retain water, hyaluronic acid forms a film that hydrates, accelerates and improves the re-epithelialization and tissue repair process.

Directions for use
Wash hands before and after using the medical device.
Detach a suppository from the blister along the pre-cut line. Remove the suppository by pulling the two tabs of the blister. Hold the suppository on your fingertips. Assume a supine position and insert the suppository deeply into the vagina.

Adults: use one suppository daily or as prescribed by a doctor, preferably in the evening before bedtime to prevent product leakage. Avoid holding the vaginal suppository between your fingers for too long, as it may melt.
The duration of use depends on the evolution of symptoms. If necessary, the product can be used for prolonged periods, but in any case, after 30 consecutive days of use, suspend treatment for one week.

Components
Sodium hyaluronate (5 mg), Centella asiatica lipolic extract, calendula lipolic extract, aloe vera lipolic extract, melaleuca essential oil, semi-synthetic glycerides, BHT.

Warnings
The product is for vaginal use only.
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Do not ingest.
The suppository, once inserted into the vagina, dissolves, so whitish, odorless discharge may occur.
In case of pregnancy or breastfeeding, as specific clinical studies have not been conducted, consult your doctor before using the device.
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to any of the product's components.
No interactions with other products are known, therefore it is advisable to consult a doctor before using CICATRIDINA suppositories in combination with other medical devices or vaginal medications.
The use, especially if prolonged, of all topical products could lead to sensitization phenomena. In such a case, or if other unwanted effects are encountered, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage
Store the medical device away from light and heat, preferably at a temperature between 4°C and 25°C. Avoid temperatures above 30°C.
The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging, correctly stored. Do not use beyond the expiry date or if the package is open or damaged.
Validity in intact packaging: 36 months.
