Description
Vaginal cream with a barrier effect that helps restore the physiological pH of the vagina, thus creating optimal conditions for the multiplication of natural lactobacilli.
Inlevia Defence therefore reduces the colonization and proliferation of pathogens such as Candida albicans, Gardnerella, and other microorganisms, thus limiting the risk of recurrent vaginal infections.
Inlevia Defence can be recommended as symptomatic treatment because it alleviates signs and symptoms such as redness, itching, bothersome discharge, and atrophy. It can also be recommended as an adjunct treatment to antifungal therapy.
Inlevia Defence also, thanks to its formula based on functional ingredients and hormone-free, helps prevent recurrent vaginal infections.
How to use
Dispense the contents of the applicator directly into the vagina while lying on your back before going to bed.
1. Lie on your back with knees bent.
2. Remove the cap.
3. Gently insert the applicator into the vagina.
4. Squeeze the applicator until it is completely empty.
5. Remove the empty applicator from the vagina.
One daily application, before going to bed, until symptoms are alleviated.
Components
Pea protein, grape seed extract, lactic acid, squalene, purified water, sodium acrylate copolymer, paraffin, phenoxyethanol, propylene glycol tridecylate, sorbitan oleate, piroctone olamine, maltodextrin.
Warnings
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the components.
In case of allergic reaction while using Inlevia Defence, immediately discontinue use and consult a doctor.
A vaginal infection may require pharmacological treatment with an antibiotic or antifungal substance. Inlevia Defence is neither an antibiotic nor an antifungal, in fact, it has no bactericidal, bacteriostatic, or antifungal effect against pathogens and therefore cannot replace such treatment recommended by a doctor or specialist. In case of pharmacological treatment, Inlevia Defence can be used as an adjunct.
Do not use Inlevia Defence during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor first.
Do not use Inlevia Defence after the expiration date.
Do not use Inlevia Defence if the applicator is damaged.
Keep out of reach of children.
Storage
Store between 8 and 25 °C. Do not freeze. Keep away from heat and light sources.
