Avocado oil [Persea gratissima CF Gaertn. (Fam. Lauraceae)], obtained by pressing the pulp of the fruit, which has an emollient function. The oil is light green in color and has a delicate odor. The high content of vitamins, phytosterols and lecithins makes it appreciated as an irreplaceable product in the external treatment of dehydrated and rough skin.
