Description
Class I Medical Device (Directive 93/42/EEC).
Triple reading glasses, made with aspheric lenses and flexible temples in hypoallergenic metal.
The focal centers of both lenses are aligned on the same axis and the interpupillary distance is between 58 and 64 mm. The diopters of the two lenses have the exact same dioptric power. In order to correctly evaluate the extent and nature of a visual defect, a preliminary eye examination by a qualified professional is necessary. Pre-assembled glasses for presbyopia, industrially constructed with lenses of identical dioptric power, are indicated exclusively for the correction of "simple presbyopia". Presbyopia is characterized by a physiological and progressive weakening of vision that generally manifests itself after the age of 45 with a series of disorders such as difficulty reading the newspaper or distinguishing small objects well up close. Presbyopia is considered simple when both eyes require the same number of corrective diopters to correct the visual defect (diopters are the unit of measurement of visual capacity). Pre-assembled glasses are only suitable for near vision and should not be used for driving, for distance vision, or for eye protection. Improper use or the use of the wrong gradation of glasses can cause various vision problems, with possible headache. In this case, an eye exam is necessary. Only an ophthalmologist can assess the health of the eyes and the extent of the visual problems. Pre-assembled glasses for presbyopia do not improve vision in the case of eye diseases, such as cataracts or macular degeneration. Pre-assembled glasses for presbyopia should not be used in the case of "complex presbyopia" or in the presence of astigmatism or anisometropia or when the number of diopters in each eye is different. Astigmatism is a vision defect due to an irregular curvature of the cornea that causes blurred and distorted vision of images while anisometropia is characterized by a different refractive error in the two eyes.

3 pieces.
