IDROGEL COMFEEL PURILON GEL 15 G 1 PIECE COMFEEL
COMFEEL PURILON
Purilon Gel
Description
Purilon is a gentle hydrogel made of natural ingredients, without any additives. It is used for wounds that require effective and gentle debridement of necrotic tissue, thus promoting faster healing.
The combination of hydrating and absorbent properties* promotes autolytic debridement and moist wound healing**.
The applicator ensures a controlled, simple and aseptic application, allowing the use of just one hand. The gel can be removed by rinsing.
The viscous consistency of the gel makes it easier to remain in the position in which it is applied; even after the absorption of exudate and tissue fragments, the gel remains cohesive, avoiding leakage and maceration.
Purilon gel hydrates necrotic tissue and absorbs excess exudate, fibrin and tissue fragments from the wound.
Composition
Purilon gel is made of purified water, sodium carboxymethylcellulose and calcium alginate. Purilon is a very gentle gel because it is made of natural ingredients, without any additives.
How to use
Purilon gel is indicated for dry and necrotic fibrinous lesions, as well as for mixed lesions with necrotic and granulation tissue, such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, non-infected diabetic foot ulcers; it can also be used on first and second degree burns. The gel can be used throughout the healing process to ensure the optimal moist environment. Purilon gel should be used in conjunction with a secondary dressing.
Format
Available in 15g and 25g.
Code 3900, 3903
