Abbocath T
CANNULA NEEDLERadiopaque intravenous catheter in Teflon FEP. Available in different sizes for administration, intravenous sampling or hemodynamic monitoring.
Needle: triple scalpel-sharpened tip, with short angle. Allows easy and painless penetration without the risk of perforating the opposite wall of the vein. Thin-walled body in stainless electric steel, without surface veins or cracks. Equipped with a transparent drip chamber. An exclusive system for viewing the catheter's entry into the vein. Air-impermeable filter to allow rapid blood reflux and ensure the internal sterility of the catheter.

Catheter: double-angled catheter tip. The first angle eliminates the step between the body of the needle and the tip of the catheter. This prevents any trauma to the patient or the introduction of tissue particles into the circulation. The second angle provides greater strength, preventing the catheter from curling during insertion.
Penetration coefficient: the tip of each Abbocath-t is electronically controlled: this guarantees each catheter a constant penetration force, an essential requirement for a non-traumatic impact with the vessel wall.
Terminal connection: equipped with a universal safety lock (Luer-Lock), it fits all the most common infusion sets.
