Peha-haft bandages are conformable cohesive bandages for fixing all types of primary and secondary dressings, splints, casts, catheters and cannulae (etc.), particularly on joints and conical and rounded body parts. They are used for the stabilization of muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints with a low immobilization effect. They are single-use and can be used by non-professionals and healthcare operators on intact skin in clinical and home environments.
Peha-haft bandages are made of 34% viscose, 34% cotton and 32% polyamide.
Peha-haft bandages are non-sterile class I medical devices.
Peha-haft bandages can be used in medical interventions when it is necessary to treat acute and chronic wounds in the short or long term or when slight immobilization is required in combination with medical devices.
They are suitable for fixing:
- primary and secondary dressings;
- cannulae, catheters, tubes and similar medical devices;
- splints, casts and similar medical devices.
Warnings
Reusing a single-use medical device is dangerous. Reprocessing devices in order to reuse them can seriously damage their integrity and performance.
