Description
Powdered food for special medical purposes, which, thanks to its iron and protein content, is indicated for the dietary management of infants and children from 0 to 36 months, with diarrhea.
It can be used as the sole source of nutrition up to six months of the child's life and after the sixth month, on the advice of the doctor, as part of the child's diversified diet.
It should only be used for temporary periods, on the advice of a doctor, and only in infants and children from 0 to 36 months, with diarrhea.
Ingredients
Banana puree, maltodextrin, vegetable oils (palm, soy , coconut), apple puree, milk proteins, partially hydrolysed rice flour, fructose, dextrose, sodium citrate, calcium carbonate, fish oil (DHA) ( milk ), lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, calcium chloride, choline hydrochloride, emulsifier ( soy lecithin), magnesium sulphate, potassium chloride, L-cystine, sodium salts of orthophosphoric acid; vitamins: vitamin C (sodium L-ascorbate, L-ascorbic acid), pantothenic acid (D-pantothenate, calcium), vitamin E (DL-alpha tocopheryl acetate), niacin (nicotinamide), riboflavin, thiamine (thiamine hydrochloride), vitamin A (retinyl acetate), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), folate (folic acid), vitamin K (phytomenadione), D-biotin, vitamin D (cholecalciferol), vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin); oil extracted from Mortierella alpina (ARA) ( milk ), taurine, sodium chloride, inositol, L-carnitine, zinc sulphate, ferric pyrophosphate; antioxidant: tocopherol-rich extract; sodium selenite, cupric sulphate, potassium iodide.

How to use
Always wash your hands before preparing the bottle.
1. Clean and sterilize the bottle, teat and all materials used.
2. Bring the water to the boil for 5 minutes and leave to cool until it reaches a temperature of 40°C, or heat oligomineral water (from a recently opened bottle) to 40°C.
3. Pour the necessary amount of water into the bottle.
4. Add the correct amount of Novalac powder using the measuring cup included in the package. Level each measuring cup with a clean, dry knife without pressing the powder.
5. Close the bottle using the hard plastic cap and shake until the powder is completely dissolved, avoiding the formation of lumps. Remove the cap and apply the sterilized teat to the bottle.
6. Allow to cool to 37°C. Check the temperature of the bottle by placing a drop of the product on your wrist. Use immediately.
Suggested Average Feeding Schedule
1 level, unpressed scoop (4.3 g) per 30 ml of water. Use only the scoop provided.
The number of meals should be planned according to the doctor's advice.
Warnings
- Do not use beyond the expiration date.
- Close the jar after each use.
- Remove the metal foil completely when opening.
- Do not prepare the bottle in advance, but always just before the meal.
Each meal should be consumed within one hour of preparation.
- The product should not be reused when it remains in the bottle after feeding. Throw away the remaining quantity.
- The product is not suitable for tube feeding.
- The product is not suitable for parenteral administration.
Novalac AD may have a different consistency than a standard formula. Once reconstituted, after a few moments, 2 layers may appear in the bottle. Simply shake again to obtain a homogeneous liquid.
- Do not use the bottle as a pacifier.
- Do not add sugar.
Breast milk is the best food for infants. If breast milk is not available or is not sufficient, infant formula may be used only under the advice of a doctor.
Improper preparation and storage of any infant formula may cause health hazards. The product may pose a health risk if consumed by children who are not affected by the disease.
