Description
Test strips for measuring blood sugar.
They provide accurate results in 5 seconds.
Small blood samples (1mc) are required.
How to use
òInsert the test strips into the test strip port with the contact bars facing the meter.
òKeeping your finger straight and still, move the instrument and test strip toward the drop of blood.
ò Gently touch the channel of the test strip to the edge of the blood drop.
ò Wait for the suction channel to fill completely. The blood drop will be drawn into the capillary channel and should fill completely.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature between 5°C and 30°C
Warnings
- If there is condensation (water vapor buildup) on the meter, do not test. Move the meter and test strips to a cooler, drier place and allow the meter surface to dry before testing. - Do not open the test strip vial until you are ready to remove a strip and perform a test. Use the test strip immediately after removing it from the vial, especially in high humidity environments.
- Close the bottle tightly immediately after use to avoid contamination or damage. Store unused test strips only in their original bottle. - Do not put the used test strip back into the bottle after performing a test.
- Do not reuse a test strip that has had blood or control solution applied to it. Test strips are for single use only.
- Do not test with a bent or damaged test strip.
- You can touch the test strip anywhere with clean, dry hands. Do not bend, cut, or modify the test strips in any way.
- When opening a new bottle of test strips, check the expiration date.
