CE medical device. Test strips are used with the OneTouch Verio IQ and OneTouch Verio Pro meters to quantitatively measure glucose levels in fresh capillary whole blood.
Characteristics
The strips automatically aspirate a small amount of blood.
It's easy to apply blood to either side of the OneTouch Verio test strip.
The OneTouch Verio Pro and OneTouch Verio IQ Systems provide plasma-calibrated results that allow for easy comparison with laboratory tests.
Warnings
Open the vial only to remove test strips for testing. After removing a test strip from the vial, immediately close the vial cap tightly. Use the test strip immediately after removing it from the vial. Do not use test strips from a damaged or opened vial. Write the discard date (opening date plus 6 months) in the space provided on the vial label when you first open the vial. Do not use test strips after the expiration date (printed on the vial label) or discard date, whichever comes first. Do not allow dirt, food, or liquids to get on the test strip. You can touch the test strip anywhere with clean, dry hands. Do not bend, cut, or alter test strips in any way. Test strips are for single use only. Never reuse a test strip that has had blood or control solution applied to it. Before testing, make sure that the meter and test strips are at approximately the same temperature. Only apply OneTouch Verio Control Solution or a blood sample to the test strip. After testing, do not return the used test strip to the bottle. Measurements should be taken as part of a medical checkup.
Conservation
Store the bottle in a cool, dry place below 30°C. Do not refrigerate. Keep away from heat and direct sunlight. Store test strips only in the original bottle. To avoid damage or contamination, do not transfer test strips to other containers.
