Description
Class IIb dressing for the treatment of oral lesions by prolonged release of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS).
medical device for the treatment of ulcerative or traumatic lesions of the oral mucosa that facilitates the healing process, creating a microenvironment favorable to the activation of the microcirculation.
It is able to form a protective barrier and a microenvironment unfavorable to the proliferation of potential pathogens.
It has a film-forming and soothing effect due to the oily nature of the product, combined with the healing and re-epithelializing properties of the oxygen-enriched oil.
Directions for use:
- periodontitis;
- gingival and palatal lesions of surgical origin;
- periradicular lesions;
- post-surgical lesions in ENT;
- acute ulcerative-necrotizing gingivitis;
- cheilitis and lesions of the oral and labial mucosa.
How to use
1. Thoroughly wash the oral cavity as per standard protocols (e.g. with water and bicarbonate).
2. Dab the lesion with sterile gauze.
3. Place an appropriate amount of product as needed, holding it in place for a few moments before ingesting and/or swallowing.
Always read the warnings and instructions for use carefully before use.
Components
Oxygen enriched olive oil.
Excipients: peppermint essential oil, stevia dry extract (E-960).
Warnings
It should not be used in individuals with known hypersensitivity or who have had an allergic reaction to the device or its components.
Do not use after the expiry date. Single-dose product, once the package has been opened and even partially used, do not store it for subsequent reuse: in case of reuse, the risk of reinfection of the lesion cannot be excluded. Do not use the product to treat more than one patient: in case of use on multiple patients, the transmission of pathogenic agents cannot be excluded. Do not use the product if the package is opened or damaged. Do not use in conjunction with topical medications. A slight burning sensation upon application may be normal, it generally disappears a few seconds after application. In case of intense or persistent irritation, discontinue use and inform your doctor or paramedic. In case of accidental ingestion of quantities greater than the contents of a syringe, it is recommended to consult your doctor and show him the label. Keep out of reach of children. In case of use on minors, adult supervision is recommended.
Conservation
Store below 25°C.
Validity with intact packaging: 24 months.
