Description
Synthetic under plaster cotton wool. White padding and protection material in various sizes wrapped in paper. White, non-irritating non-woven fabric. The fibrous mass maintains the sponginess and elasticity that allows for perfect conformation and protection of the skin required following the pressure created by the immobilization systems. The composition and resistance of the material allow for circular application and the traction capacity allows it to be applied in particularly difficult areas (elbows, heels, etc.). The good properties of the synthetic Lenosoft are not lost when used for a long period. Due to its naturalness, the material has an adhesive effect that facilitates application, requiring simple manual skills. Once applied, it maintains a smooth layer of uniform thickness that avoids pressure points that could create local circulation problems. Permeable to air, Lenosoft compensates for temperature as the fibers do not absorb humidity and, in rigid bandaging, facilitates the grip of the plaster. Lenosoft is not a sterile product; once the paper wrapping has been removed, it can be sterilized if necessary by steam, rays, ethylene oxide in accordance with the standards EN 554, EN 552, EN 550 respectively. It does not contain latex. Indicated for the protection of body parts exposed to plaster or other synthetic materials. The padding for the zinc oxide bandage or adhesive tape is also used. Combined with textile compresses or paraffin gauze compresses, Lenosoft acts as a protector, permeable to air.
