Description
Food supplement of Cascara sagrada and Green Anise, useful for intestinal well-being. Cascara helps the regularity of the intestinal tract, while Anise promotes regular gastrointestinal mobility and elimination of gas. Both ingredients contribute to digestive functions.
Ingredients
Lactose monohydrate; Bulking agent: Powdered cellulose; dry extract of Cascara sagrada (Rhamnus purshiano L.) bark (supported on lactose ), Green Anise (Pimpinella anisum L.) fruit powder; Bulking agent: Cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose; Anti-caking agent: Magnesium salts of fatty acids.
Contains lactose .

2 tablets 2 times a day, to be swallowed with water without chewing, preferably morning and evening.

Do not dispose of in the environment after use.
In rare cases, spastic gastrointestinal disorders may occur. In these cases, it is necessary to reduce the dose. In case of chronic use or abuse, electrolyte losses may occur, especially potassium, albuminuria and hematuria; pigmentation of the intestinal mucosa which, however, is harmless and regresses once the intake is stopped. Potassium loss can lead to alterations in cardiac function and myasthenia, especially if cardiac glycosides, diuretics and corticosteroids are taken at the same time.
Interactions with other medicines
Not found. In case of chronic use/abuse, the resulting potassium loss may cause an intensification of the effect of cardiac glycosides and antiarrhythmics. Potassium depletions may be exacerbated in association with thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids and liquorice (dry extract, root).
Contraindications
Ileus, acute inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, appendicitis), abdominal pain of unknown origin. Pregnancy, breastfeeding and children under 12 years of age.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place.
