How to use:
fill the ampoule with the indicated dose of the prescribed drug and possibly 2ml of saline solution. Ask your doctor if you need to use a mouthpiece or mask. In general, if your problem is only affecting the bronchi and lungs, it is preferable, if possible, to use a mouthpiece, breathing only through the mouth, as the nose acts as a filter and retains a lot of aerosolized drug.
Inhale calmly and slowly for the prescribed time without pauses and always keeping your lips closed on the mouthpiece and without speaking. Carefully avoid that the aerosol goes into the eyes especially with drugs called anticholinergics or cortisone and if you tend to have high pressure in the eyes (glaucoma). The nebulization time should not exceed 8-10 minutes.
Do not leave any drug residue for subsequent sessions because the solution could lose all its effectiveness and even become contaminated with microorganisms. As a rule, nebulization is considered complete when the residual solution can no longer be nebulized. Wash your face and hands well after nebulization, especially in children and after using cortisone to avoid skin problems.
Always disassemble each component of the device and regularly perform rigorous hygiene of the nebulizer.
Store the instrument in a safe place, away from heat sources and protected from environmental dust.
