Description
Medical device containing Ectoin, a natural cyto-protective molecule, capable of reducing inflammation and stabilizing cell membranes.
Isotonic solution that can be used as a supportive treatment to reduce inflammation and relieve the symptoms of respiratory tract diseases, in case of allergic or non-allergic asthma, bronchitis or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It protects and moisturizes the mucosa of the respiratory tract, for example when exposed to particulate matter, pollen, dust or dry air from heated or air-conditioned environments. Fidhalo prevents allergic respiratory symptoms of asthma induced for example by house dust or pollen. Fidhalo, in the prevention and supportive treatment of bronchitis symptoms, prevents the dryness of the mucous membranes and dilutes thick mucus, making it easier to expectorate.
It can be administered via nozzle, membrane and ultrasonic nebulizers.
How to use
Inhale the contents of a single dose (2.5 ml) as needed, up to twice a day, using a nebulizer device. Make sure the nebulizer is clean and free of any impurities.
Children aged 10 years and under must be supervised during application.
1. Remove a single-dose vial from the strip and open the container by rotating the flap.
2. Hold the opening of the single-dose vial over the nebulizer funnel.
3. Pour the entire contents into the funnel, gently pressing on the vial. Due to the way the vial is manufactured, a small amount of liquid will remain inside the vial.
4. Use the nebulizer device according to its manufacturer's instructions.
5. Children under 2 years of age require special technical equipment (e.g. custom-made soft-shell masks) for inhaling FIDHALO. Use the equipment recommended by the manufacturer of the nebulizer device.
To ensure the sterility of the product, each single-dose vial is intended for a single use.

Warnings
It should not be used in the presence of persistent trauma, for example after surgery on the respiratory system. It should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to Ectoin or any other ingredient. If side effects occur, the use of Fidhalo should be stopped immediately. After using a single-dose vial, the remaining liquid should be thrown away, as it is not intended for use at a later time. Fidhalo is contained in small plastic parts that can be swallowed by small children. To avoid the risk of suffocation, it should be stored out of the reach of children. Do not use damaged or punctured single-dose vials. Do not inhale too quickly. It should not be used after the expiry date has passed. Wait at least 15 minutes between using FIDHALO and inhaling other medical devices or other medications.
Conservation
Store at temperatures between 2°C and 25°C.
Validity for intact package: 36 months.
