AEROSOL

Description
A medical device for inhalation use consisting of a hypertonic solution based on dried plant extracts of lemon balm, perilla, and thyme, combined with hyaluronic acid. Rinopur Aerosol is indicated for the treatment of symptoms resulting from alterations in the trophism of the respiratory epithelium, such as cough, rhinorrhea, and pain typical of flu-like syndromes but also associated with external allergens. These conditions are caused by a reduction in normal mucosal hydration and a consequent reduction in mucociliary clearance. This causes a vicious cycle that can lead to airway obstruction and susceptibility to viral and bacterial infections. Therefore, nebulizing hydrating substances, such as hyaluronic acid, is the correct therapeutic approach for restoring hydration levels, providing relief to irritated mucosa. The appropriate hypertonic nature of the solution also contributes to hydration, allowing for the thinning and removal of mucus. Selected plant extracts have antioxidant and soothing properties, helping restore the physiological balance of the respiratory mucosa. Nebulizing Rinopur Aerosol is also ideal for cleansing the nasal cavity and upper respiratory tract. Rinopur Aerosol is a sterile, preservative-free, ready-to-use solution.

How to use
Spray a 3 ml vial one to two times a day, or as directed by your doctor, without diluting it. The product can be used with all types of aerosol devices (piston and ultrasonic).
1. Ready-to-use solution, do not dilute.
2. The solution is for single use.
3. Blow your nose before starting the session.
4. Flex the single-dose container in both directions and detach it from the strip of 5 containers to which it is welded.
5. Shake the single-dose container lightly before use.
6. Twist and break the container cap.
7. Apply moderate pressure to the walls of the single-dose container, dispense the indicated amount of solution and pour it into the nebulizer bottle (aerosol device).
8. The product can be used with both piston and ultrasonic aerosol devices.
9. Breathe regularly during the session, lasting about 5-6 minutes.
10. Do not use any residue from the vial and/or in the nebulizer bulb after use.

Components
Melissa officinalis extract (titrated in rosmarinic acid = 12%), Perilla frutescens extract (titrated in polyphenols = 2.5%), Thymus serpyllum extract, hyaluronic acid, sodium chloride 2%, sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, sodium phosphate dibasic dihydrate, maltodextrin, anhydrous colloidal silica, purified water to 100 ml.

Warnings
- The product is for inhalation use only, do not ingest or use otherwise than as directed.
- Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or if the vials are not perfectly intact.
- Consult your doctor for use in pediatric age and for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Do not use on children under 2 years of age, as in this age group the physiological characteristics of the respiratory tract lead to a limited capacity for bronchial mucus drainage.
- Before using the device, it is advisable to thoroughly clean your hands.
- When filling the ampoule, do not touch other surfaces with the dispensing end of the vial.
- Do not use the product in case of known incompatibility with even just one component of the formulation.
- If you experience any discomfort such as bronchospasm, cough, or any sensation of irritation during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor.
- The administration of inhaled drugs at the same time as the inhalation solution must be carried out under the supervision of a doctor who
can evaluate the possible interactions.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
- Once the vial is opened, pour out the contents immediately and do not reuse any remaining contents.
- Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
- Keep unused vials in the carton.
- In case of any complaint or serious incident occurring in relation to the device, it is necessary to report the incident to the manufacturer.

Conservation
Store at temperatures not exceeding 25°C.
Shelf life when packaging is intact: 36 months.
