Onligol Macrogol 4000 400 G Sugar Free Onligol

Description
Onligol is a laxative in powder form for oral solution based on Macrogol 4000. It contains no excipients, flavourings or sugars. It can be dissolved in any drink (e.g. tea, herbal tea, milk, broth or fruit juice) and does not alter its taste.
Onligol is particularly indicated for chronic constipation.
It is equally indicated for occasional irregular bowel movements.
Thanks to its affinity for water, Onligol softens stools, facilitating evacuation and promoting a sense of well-being and relief.
It acts naturally:
- it is neither absorbed nor fermented in the intestine;
- it does not irritate the mucosa;
- it is eliminated in the faeces in an unmodified form.
It does not cause cramps, abdominal pain, or urgent conditions.
Its effectiveness does not diminish over time.
Gluten and lactose-free.

Instructions for use
Dissolve the dose of product in at least 125 ml (increase to 150 ml in paediatric age) of any beverage, even hot, such as tea, herbal teas, milk, broth or fruit juice. Onligol does not alter the taste of the beverage. Drink the reconstituted solution. It is advisable to take Onligol away from meals.
DOSAGE (unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor): Onligol allows for broad dosing flexibility.
Adults and children weighing over 20 kg (11 years): the dose is 10 g (2 level teaspoons), 1-3 times a day, according to individual response.
For a faster effect, the maximum daily dose (30 g) can be taken in a single administration. In case of prolonged use, the dose can be reduced to 10 g (2 level teaspoons) 1-2 times a day, even every other day, preferably in the evening.
Children 6-9 kg (6 months-1 year): 5 g.
Children 10-12 kg (1-2 years): 7.5 g.
Children 13-16 kg (2-6 years): 10 g.
Children 17-20 kg (6-11 years): 12.5 g.
For children up to 20 kg, it is advisable to personalise the dose according to the child's actual needs until soft stools are obtained.

Warnings
Do not exceed the maximum daily dosage of 30 g (6 level teaspoons).
Do not take Onligol in case of: known hypersensitivity to macrogol; gastrointestinal perforation and/or obstruction. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the product should be used under medical prescription.
Do not use below 6 months of age. Close the bottle tightly after use.
During treatment with Onligol, it is advisable to follow an adequate diet, accompanied by the administration of an oral rehydration solution (ORS) to avoid dehydration. It is advisable to consult a doctor. Do not use Onligol for more than 30 consecutive days; if symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
Keep out of reach of children.

Storage
Store in the original packaging in a cool, dry place.
The indicated expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging and correctly stored.
